Governor Beshear Proclaims May 4-10 Drinking Water Week

“Drinking Water Week provides an opportunity for all of us to consider the immense value of a safe, reliable water supply in our lives and in our communities,” said Governor Beshear. “It creates jobs, attracts industry and investment and provides for the health and welfare of citizens in ways ranging from disease prevention to fire suppression. My administration is working diligently to keep our water safe for consumption and to extend the availability of clean water to all our citizens.”
