UPCOMING EVENTS
Middle School Believe Conference: February 24-25 in Cincinnati, OH. The cost is $50 per student (plus $$$ for three meals). The deadline to sign up is February 12th and space is limited. More information is on the “Retreats” tab and the form is posted on the “Forms” tab!
Great Bowls of Fire: March 11th This is a major fundraiser for our youth and all students will benefit! Proceeds will go towards our summer trips and events! Expect to see MUCH more information and volunteer sign-ups in the next couple of weeks!
2012 Summer Mission Trip We will be going to Costa Rica for our mission trip this year! The dates will be June 16-June 27. Cost is $1,800.00 per person. The deadline to sign up for the trip has passed. HOWEVER, if you ask nicely, we can still squeeze you in! Please visit the “Summer Trips” tab for MUCH more information!
2012 PASSPORT Camp We will be going to camp the week of July 8-13 this summer in Wingate, North Carolina! We NEED a $75.00 deposit from you in order to secure your spot! At this time, we do not have any open spots.
Kroger Card Fundraiser: We know that Youth Ministry is expensive and we want to help with that! All of the money raised through the Kroger Card Fundraiser goes towards making youth events affordable for all participants. During 2011, you raised a total of $4,241.72! WOW! Fundraising could not be any easier than this! Here is how it works: (1) Purchase a reusable Kroger Card from Emily Thompson in the Church Office for $5.00 (the $5.00 will go towards your groceries as well. The card is just preloaded with that amount). (2) Load the card with your desired amount of money before or after you shop either at a register or at Customer Service. (3) Use the card to purchase your groceries and/or gas and 4% will be donated to the SMBC Youth Ministry! So far, you have raised a total of $329.32 for 2012!
